Life sentence for a man targeted a judge in Maysan

Maysan Criminal Court issued on Tuesday, a life sentence against a man accused of targeting Judge at Al-Amarah Investigation Court while he was on his way to his workplace.
 
 
The Media Center of the Judicial Council said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The convict fired shots at the car of the judge while he was on his way to his workplace at the Presidency of the Maysan Federal Court of Appeal."
The statement continued, "The accused was sentenced in accordance with the provisions of Article (II/1) and in the context of Article IV/1 of the Anti-Terrorism Law No. 13 of 2005."
