Arab Republic of Egypt condemned on Wednesday, the Iranian missile bombing on areas in the Kurdistan region, Iraq.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry confirmed its condemnation of the Iranian missile bombing that targeted areas in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, which resulted in innocent civilian casualties, explaining that "the bombing is a blatant violation of Iraq's sovereignty and security," according to a statement by the Ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency – INA.
The statement highlighted, "Egypt extends its sincere condolences to the government and people of brotherly Iraq for the victims of this attack, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.”
"Egypt is monitoring the tensions in the region over the past few days,” the statement included, warning “of its repercussions on the stability of the region and the safety of its peoples."
