Iraq participated on Monday, in the work of the General Assembly of Satellite Communications Organization 28th, London.

The ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in London, Muhammad Jaafar al-Sadr participated in the work of the General Assembly of Satellite Communications Organization in its 28th session, which is being held in London. The heads of delegations of the participating countries and ambassadors accredited to the United Kingdom have attended as well, according to a statement by the embassy, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The International Organization for Communications via Satellites is an intergovernmental organization that supervises the monitoring of the satellites performance and their public services. It is concerned with secure communications provided by satellites.

The meetings of the General Assembly are scheduled to last for five days, from September 26th to 30th 2022, with the participation of technical delegations of the participating countries.
