The National Security Adviser Qassim Al-Araji discussed on Wednesday, with Egyptian Ambassador Walid Mohammad Ismail the prospects for cooperation between Baghdad and Cairo in the field of combating terrorism.
"Al-Araji received in his office today, Wednesday, the Egyptian Ambassador in Baghdad, Walid Mohammad Ismail, and they discussed the latest political and security situation in the region, as well as discussing strengthening relations between the two countries," The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The meeting discussed, according to the statement, prospects for cooperation between Baghdad and Cairo, especially in the field of combating terrorism and exchanging information.
