Iraq participates in a regional conference on the challenges of energy, water and food security

    Iraq is preparing to participate in the first regional investment conference "Challenges and Opportunities", which will be held next Thursday in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

    The director of the center, Rania Haddadin, said in a statement to the organizers, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The pioneering center for training in human rights and Jordanian studies, in cooperation with the Amman Chamber of Industry, will organize next Thursday in the Jordanian capital, Amman, the first regional investment conference (challenges and opportunities)," The conference will last for two days, indicating that "the conference will be held with wide Jordanian and Arab participation, from Iraq, Palestine, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait, and representatives of the Jordanian public and private sectors."

    Haddadin added, "The conference aims to support sustainable development, address the challenges of energy, water and food security, and reveal government policies and trends in order to support investment, generate job opportunities, and deepen the benefit of Jordan's available capabilities in the fields of industry, trade, tourism and advanced technological services."
