Launching a new security operation in Al-Azim district

The Popular Mobilization forces (PMF) announced on Monday, the launch of a security operation in Al-Azim district, Diyala province.

A statement by the PMF, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "a force from the army and the 62nd Brigade in the PMF, carried out today Monday a large-scale security operation in Al-Azim district, Diyala province, to eliminate the remnants of ISIS terrorist."

"The operation aims to secure and inspection the areas within the sector of responsibility," The statement added.
