Anbar Governor: Returning about 350 families from Al-Hol camp

    Anbar Governor Ali Farhan counted today, Sunday the number of displaced people inside the province and those coming from the Syrian Al-Hol camp, while he announced the compensation of about 25% of those covered by compensation for the war on ISIS terrorist.
    Farhan told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "The number of displaced people from Anbar districts does not exceed 125 families in tourist camps, and the rest are from southern Baghdad, specifically from Jurf al-Nasr and nearby areas."
    He added, "The central government is in charge of their file," stressing that "their homes do not face any problem, and the governorate is responsible for their return."
    He pointed out that "the governorate is working to return the displaced people from the Syrian al-Hol camp, and there are teams present in the Qaim Maqamiya and the sub-districts, and in coordination with the National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji, who has a very big role in this file," noting that "meetings are continuing with the concerned authorities to return the people of the province of the displaced people returning from Syria after their rehabilitation.
    Farhan pointed out that "the number of families returning from Syria is about 500, about 350 of whom have been returned to the governorate after they were properly audited and they live their lives normally, and efforts are continuing to return others," noting that "there is a new numbers from Al-Hol camp that will be returned to Iraq."
    He stressed that "follow-up is continuing with the National Security Adviser, specialized committees, and the Ministry of Immigration to return the displaced, most of them are stationed in Al-Qaim, Rawa and other areas."
