The Russian Foreign Ministry called on Tuesday, for restraint and dialogue among the Iraqi parties.
"Moscow is closely following the latest developments in Iraq and calls on all parties to resort to restraint and dialogue," A source in the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
He continued, "We have good relations with all the political leaders, we do not think that there is any serious danger to Russian citizens in Iraq, but we will analyze the situation, because the main priority is the safety of our representatives, employees and citizens."
