Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi directed the Council of Ministers to suspend its sessions.
The Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, directed the Cabinet to suspend its sessions until further notice."
"This came because a group of demonstrators entered the Cabinet headquarters represented by the Government Palace." The media office added.
