The head of the Popular Mobilization Forces - PMF, Falih Al-Fayadh, confirmed on Monday that the PMF is ready to confront any security challenges facing the country.
"During his attendance at the "Martyrdom and Sovereignty" festival held by the PMF Chief of Staff - Special Forces Brigade Al-Mukhtar on the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of victory, Al-Fayadh recalled the march of the martyrs and their role in achieving the goals of the legal fatwa", noting that "the PMF, thanks to the loyal leaders, is now entrenched behind it a nation with a major footprint in confronting the enemies," said a statement by the PMF Media Office - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The head of PMF confirmed "the readiness and preparedness of the PMF to confront any security challenges facing the country."
"A necessity to follow the path of the martyrs and preserve the victories achieved in defeating terrorism," Al-Fayadh highlighted.
The statement concluded, "The festival was attended by many leaders, fighters, representatives of Arab embassies, and members of the Iraqi Parliament."
