Baghdad-INA
Today, Tuesday, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, ruled out holding a session of the House of Representatives elsewhere.
Abdullah told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the holding of a session of the House of Representatives at the present time outside the parliament building will complicate the scene."
He added: "There is no tendency to hold a session of the House of Representatives after the decision to suspend the sessions."
Earlier, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi decided to suspend Parliament sessions until further notice, while the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa al-Kadhimi, called for taking the necessary measures to protect institutions and protesters.
