Iraq announced Saturday its solidarity with Pakistan over the rains, floods and torrential rains.
A statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its solidarity with the friendly Republic of Pakistan, the government and people, due to the recent rains, floods and torrents, leaving material and human losses."
The statement added: "As we express our condolences to the families of the victims and the missing, we wish the government and people of Pakistan to overcome these difficult times, and we pray for the injured for a speedy recovery."
