The sixth phase of Solid Will Operation launched in Kirkuk: SMC

The Security Media Cell - SMC announced Saturday the launch of the sixth phase of Solid Will Operation in Kirkuk.

SMC stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "after the fifth phase of Operation Solid Will achieved its planned results, it launched with Allah’s blessing at dawn today, Saturday, the sixth phase in Kirkuk Governorate, where the heroes of Air Force began targeting specific goals by L159 planes within the responsibility sector.

The statement added: "The Eighth Division participated in this phase within the advanced headquarters of the Joint Operations Command in Kirkuk, as well as the Third Division of the Federal Police, and the Commandos Regiments."

 It pointed out that "the operation targets the Zab areas and the borders separating the sector of the advanced headquarters of the Joint Operations Command in Kirkuk and the sector of the Nineveh Operations Command."
