Rasool discloses names of the terrorists killed in an ambush in Nineveh

    spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahia Rasool, announced Thursday the names of the terrorists killed in an ambush in Nineveh.

    Major General Rasool said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "with the guidance of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the anti-terrorist service began setting up a professional ambush near Silo Makhmour in Nineveh Governorate."

     He added: "the vigilant intelligence of the Service monitored the itinerary of a group of terrorists, it clashed with them on the night of Wednesday, which resulted in the killing of (3) ISIS gangs, one of whom was killed during the clash and the other two were killed after searching the area this morning."

    He continued, "The intelligence also identified the identities and positions of the murdered, who are: Muhammad Taha Muhammad al-Kanani Abu Anas,, and Ahmed Abd Muhammad al-Kanani (Abu Abd)."

     He pointed out that "one of the terrorists' collaborators, who was providing them with food supplies was also arrested ."
