The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yehia Rasoul, announced on Monday, the arrest of 5 terrorists in two provinces.
“Under the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) carried out a series of precise qualitative duties that targeted active members in ISIS terrorist gangs,” said Rasool in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Rasool also noted that “CTS carried out operations in the governorates of (Baghdad - Anbar) according to intelligence information that resulted in the arrest of (5) Terrorists, including a terrorist specialized in recruitment and dissemination of extremist ideology.”
