The Ministry of Interior denies the resignation of the minister

 The Ministry of Interior denied on Thursday, reports about the resignation of the Minister, Othman Al-Ghanmi, from his 

post.

The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the successes and constant giving to serve this country by the Minister of Interior, Othman Al-Ghanimi, have angered the enemies of this success, and they are promoting completely incorrect news, which is (the minister submitted his resignation from the current government)

An official statement dismissed the reports as "unfounded", warning that they aim to "reshuffle the cards."

"The Ministry reserves the right to respond and seek legal proceedings against whoever shared or promoted these rumors," the statement said.
