An inspection operation launched east of Tuz Khurmatu

the security forces and the Popular Mobilization forces (PMF) launched on Thursday, a security operation to search the eastern district of Tuz Khurmatu.
A statement by the PMF, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the security forces and the Special Forces Regiment of the Northern Axis Command of the PMF have launched a wide search operation east of Tuz Khurmatu.
The statement added that "the operation included searching the areas (Qublak - Qoshlan - Shurao) within the Balkaneh mountain to pursue ISIS remnants and destroy its hideouts within the sector of responsibility."
