Iraqi security forces launched on Thursday, a large-scale search operation in Wadi Al-Shay and the village of Al-Jiyam, west of Tuz Khurmatu, to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs.
The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the Rapid Response Division launched an inspection operation in Wadi al-Shay and the village of Al-Jyam, west of Tuz Khurmatu."
Rasool added, During the Ops, the forces managed to destroy a number of hostels that ISIS gangs used as a launching pad for their terrorist operations."
