Culture Minister announces the found of an archaeological treasure in Tel Aswad in Najaf

The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Hassan Nadhem, announced today, Monday, the discovery of an important archaeological treasure in Tel Aswad in the city of Najaf. While he stressed the work to prevent encroachment on archaeological and heritage sites in all governorates to preserve it from damage and loss.
 
Nadhem said in a press conference held today in the governorate and attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "an important archaeological treasure was discovered in Tel Aswad in the city of Najaf within the borders of Kufa city by an Iraqi excavation mission," noting that "the discovery It came through the work of the Iraqi archaeological excavation mission in Tell Aswad in Najaf governorate.
