The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency – INA said that protesters started to withdraw from the parliament building and the Green Zone, which they entered earlier.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, earlier called on the protesters to immediately withdraw from Parliament, while the Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi directed his General Secretariat to attend and communicate with the protesters.
A short while ago, the leader of the Sadrist movement Sayyed Muqtada al-Sadr, called on the demonstrators to return home.
