Protesters start to withdraw from the Parliament and Green Zone

Protesters started on Wednesday, to withdraw from the Parliament building and the Green Zone.

The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency – INA said that protesters started to withdraw from the parliament building and the Green Zone, which they entered earlier.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, earlier called on the protesters to immediately withdraw from Parliament, while the Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi directed his General Secretariat to attend and communicate with the protesters.

A short while ago, the leader of the Sadrist movement Sayyed Muqtada al-Sadr, called on the demonstrators to return home.
