Joint Ops: 77 wanted terrorists arrested in Kirkuk

    The advanced headquarters of the Joint Operations Command in Kirkuk announced on Saturday, the arrest of 77 wanted terrorists in the province.

    "Under the supervision of Lieutenant-General Ali Al-Freji, joint operations units in Kirkuk carried out counter-terrorism operations as they were able to arrest 17 terrorists and 60 wanted persons," according to a statement by the Operations Command, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

    He added, "It also managed to destroy 7 dens, seize 7 stocks, in addition to treating 59 explosive devices, 24 projectiles, two explosive vests, 55 mortar bombs and 8 missiles."
