Sayyed Al-Sistani: Friday is the first day of the holy month of Dhu al-Hijjah

The office of the Supreme Religious Reference – Marja’, Sayyed Ali al-Sistani, announced on Wednesday, that the day after tomorrow, Friday, will be the first day of the holy month of Dhu al-Hijjah.
 
"Next Thursday, is the end of the holy month of Dhu al-Qa'dah,” according to a statement by the office, that the Iraqi News Agency – INA received.
 
The statement included, "Friday, corresponding to July 1st, 2022, is the first of the sacred month of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1443 AH."
