President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, discussed Thursday with the heads of the region's courts of appeal, dealing with the problems of the work of the courts in Iraq.
A statement of the Judicial Council received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, received the heads of the Courts of Appeal of Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Dohuk on the occasion of their attendance at the meeting of the joint judicial committee between the center and the region to address legal problems related to the work of courts throughout Iraq."
The statement added, "The meeting was attended by the head of the Judicial Oversight Authority and the heads of the Nineveh and Kirkuk Appeal Courts."
