The Federal Court approved on Wednesday six contested items in favor of the government, while four were rejected.
"The Federal Court has approved the government's appeal that the minister is agreed on to add financial allocations to compensate employees' salaries, contracts and wages, as stated in Article 50/a," an Iraqi News Agency reported said.
"The court also agreed to the government's appeal to reject 15% fuel taxes as well as the government's appeal to the cost of oil licensing rounds," he said.
On the rejection of the Finance Committee's oversight of the distribution of projects in the province, our reporter confirmed that "the Federal Court has agreed to the government's appeal on this subject".
"The Federal Court approved the government's appeal against the refusal to establish petrodollar funds by the provinces and considers them exclusive to the federal government, while rejecting the government's appeal on the unconstitutionality of raising wheat and barley prices, which are constitutional and within the powers of the parliament," he said.
