Italy supports Iraq in all fields

Italy stressed its support for Iraq in all fields, that would keep on bilateral relations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein received the Italian Deputy Minister of  and International Cooperation, Marina Serini, at the ministry's headquarters."

"During the meeting, they exchanged views on many issues and topics of common interest in areas that enhance the development of relations between the two countries, the two sides discussed finding ways to achieve the interests of the two friendly countries," the statement added.

The statement  pointed out that "the meeting discussed the current political developments on the regional and international arenas and the crisis between Russia and Ukraine, where the views were congruent regarding the development of a mechanism to end the war, whose repercussions have become dangerous for the countries of the region and the world, in addition to its negative effects on global food security and energy."
