Al-Zamili: The banning normalization law is a necessity for the stability of the country

    The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the law  of banning the  normalization and establishing relations with the Zionist entity is one of the necessities of stability in Iraq.

    The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that " Al-Zamili chaired today, a joint meeting with the Parliamentary Legal Committee, with the presence of the head of the Sadrist bloc, Hassan Al-Adhari, during which it hosted a number of representatives of the relevant security services, to discuss a proposed law prohibition of normalization, and listening to observations and security consultations to include it in the law before submitting it to a vote in the nearest parliamentary session.
    Al-Zamili stressed, according to the statement, that the legitimate, national and moral responsibility requires all parliamentarians to vote on the law prohibiting normalization and establishing relations with the Zionist entity, which will be a footprint recorded in history for the members of this parliamentary session, calling on the legal committee to intensify work on it and speed up its completion.
    The First Deputy pointed out to "the importance of continuing to hold the committee's meetings with the ministries, security services and relevant authorities, to come up with a sober and strong law as one of the necessities of stability in Iraq."
    Al-Zamili added, "We do not want in this law to isolate Iraq from its regional and international surroundings, and its vocabulary will be formulated with utmost precision and in a manner that achieves the purpose of its legislation."
