Prime Minister: Our government remains fully committed to supporting the advancement of our valiant army’s capabilities

Iraq Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani confirmed on Monday, that the government remains fully committed, through all its programs and responsibilities, to supporting the advancement of our valiant army’s capabilities and reinforcing its vital national role.
 
Al-Sudani  posted on x, formerly twitter , “On the 104th anniversary of the founding of our Iraqi Army, the stature of this esteemed national institution is further entrenched, standing as an army by the people and for the people—a steadfast bulwark against terrorism and threats, and a cornerstone of constitutional democracy”.
 
“Our heroic army, along with all formations of our armed forces, has fought with honor and made great sacrifices in safeguarding Iraq’s security and stability, protecting the nation’s developmental progress, and preserving its independence and sovereignty,” he added.
 
PM further stated that “On this solemn occasion, we remember with pride the martyrs of our army and brave armed forces, who secured victory and upheld Iraq’s honor. Eternal glory and high esteem be theirs in the sight of the Almighty”.
