Baghdad-INA
The Olympic team coach, Miroslav Soukup, confirmed that the Iran friendly scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, is an important stop before the Asian finals.
Soukup spoke first at a press conference held in Baghdad and attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), about the impact of the absence of players from the team due to injury, such as Zaidan Iqbal, whose presence was a double force for the team, stressing his high confidence in the players present to compensate for the absence of their colleagues.
Regarding tomorrow's match against the Iranian national team, Soukup said: "We seek to benefit greatly from it and learn about the players' performance and their implementation of duties in the defensive and attacking sides, because it is the last stop for our team before the Asian finals, especially since it is with a strong team like the Iranian team."
