The Iraqi Air Force targets a hideout for ISIS gangs north of Baghdad

The Security Media Cell announced today, Thursday, the targeting of a hideout for terrorist gangs north of the capital, Baghdad.

The cell stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "an intensive intelligence effort is being carried out by the specialized agencies to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs, as the National Security Service began collecting accurate intelligence information about a terrorist den north of the capital, Baghdad, in cooperation and coordination with the targeting cell of the leadership of Joint operations, and the Air Force aviation has been provided with this confirmed information.".

The statement added, "In turn, the Iraqi F16 planes carried out two air strikes on this den used by 3 members of ISIS terrorist gangs within the Sixth Division sector, while a security force went out to search the targeted place."
