The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, congratulated on Monday, the Iraqi Media Network (IMN), on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of founding of the first television in Iraq and the Middle East.
Al-Hakim tweeted via his Twitter, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We congratulate the Iraqi Media Network on the 66th anniversary of founding of the first television in Iraq and the Middle East."
He added, "On this occasion, we urge our national media with all its visual, audio, print and electronic outlets, to develop its performance in order to convey the civilized image of our country and keep pace with its global counterpart in terms of daily news, entertainment and educational programs aimed to serve the individual, family and society."
