    The Joint Operations Command
summarized the achievements of the Solid Will operations, 6 days after their launch, while stressing that the most important feature of it is the implementation of air landings in the depths of the desert by 4 security agencies.

The spokesman for the Joint Operations Command, Major General Tahsin al-Khafaji, told Al-Iraqiya News, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "six days after Operation Solid Will, in its second phase, it achieved the desired results by clearing hundreds of kilometers and arresting terrorists through planning and intelligence and security information.".

He added, "The operation witnessed this evening the implementation of 23 airdrops, some of them deep in the desert, through airborne forces represented by the Counter-Terrorism Service, the Iraqi Special Forces, the Rapid Response and the Popular Mobilization, all of which participated in the landing operations.".

"The operation witnessed the arrest of 13 terrorists, the killing of 5 others, the destruction of 17 guest houses, the detonation of 24 explosive devices, the confiscation of large quantities of ammunition and weapons, and the destruction of 3 booby-trapped houses," he added.

He stressed that "the operation was marked by the fact that its borders began with Nineveh, all the way to Karbala, and thwarted the terrorist scheme in carrying out the so-called Battle of Ramadan and killed all the elements of the terrorist detachments that targeted the security units there.".

He added, "The intelligence effort was distinguished in targeting ISIS terrorist gangs, and that the citizens provided important information that helped in reaching and striking the terrorists."
