Security Media Cell announced Thursday the arrival of a high-ranking security delegation to Diyala Governorate.
The cell said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "with the aim of reviewing on the ground the security situation in Diyala Governorate, the Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Yarallah, the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, and the Commander of the Ground Forces, Lieutenant-General Qassem Al-Muhammadi and the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army for Operations to the Qara Tabeh district within the Diyala Operations Command.
SMC added, "An extensive meeting was held in the presence of the provincial police chief and Diyala's mobilization leader."
