MOT identifies reasons for stopping the Iraqi Airways flights to Syria

The Ministry of Transport (MOT) identified on Wednesday, the reasons for stopping the Iraqi Airways flights to Syria.

"The companies that travel to Syria are private companies far from the official national airlines, as the latter does not have flights to Syria," said the Ministry spokesman Hussein Jalil to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

"The government national airlines flights have been suspended since 2014 as a result of the security conditions that Syria is going through and the atmosphere is not safe, as well as the level of insurance at very high prices," Jalil added.
