The General Company of Iraqi Airways clarified, today, Thursday, the details of the global price grading system that has been applied in Iraq since 4/12/2021, while explaining the reason for the increase in evening flights compared to their morning flights.
The company's spokesman, Hussein Jalil, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the prices of Iraqi airlines are the lowest among the airlines operating in Iraq, and even cheaper than the prices of other Iraqi carriers, which are called low-cost, but they are not low-cost, but ordinary companies." and competition with Iraqi Airways.
Jalil added, "With regard to ticket prices on the internal sectors, the company offers very cheap prices and may reach the price of a car for transportation, and the prices, for example, Baghdad - Erbil, start from 69 dollars, and Baghdad - Basra start from 49 dollars."
He pointed out that "the company has implemented, since 04/12/2021, the price grading system for the internal and external sectors, and this system is applicable in all international airlines."
He pointed out that "Iraqi Airways, according to the Prosger within the Iraqi Airways plan, has adopted a reduction in prices for all sectors, and after the application of the price grading system, there has been support for the Iraqi passenger, and now we are in the high season period, i.e. the vacation period and the summer period in which all airlines in the world increase Their prices, except for Iraqi Airways, did not increase their prices."
