The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on Tuesday, a statistic of death cases and infections of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) throughout Iraq.
The ministry's spokesman, Saif Al-Badr, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The number of CCHF cases has reached 18 throughout Iraq."
He added that "The death cases resulted from to this disease reached to four cases," calling for "taking caution and adhering the preventive measures to avoid this dangerous disease."
Al-Badr explained that "The detected cases in Iraq for this year are limited, as we reached 10 cases throughout Iraq, but the province that is most affected by the disease is Dhi Qar."
