The authorities announced that a 5.4-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of El Salvador in Central America on Friday, without causing injuries or material damage. 72 kilometers off the country’s southern coast, according to a report by the Natural Resources and Hazards Observatory.
The quake was felt in the central region of El Salvador, where the capital is located, but the authorities were not immediately informed of any damage.
