The Joint Operations Command (JOC) announced Monday, holding a security meeting in Salah al-Din to discuss returning IDPs to their areas of residence.
JOC said in a statement , received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that " Deputy commander of the JOC, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, arrived in Salah al-Din Governorate and met Governor Ammar Jabr and the security commanders in Salah al-Din and Samarra Ops ."
The statement added , "The civil affairs meeting for Salah al-Din Governorate was held in the presence of al-Shammari, UN representative, international and humanitarian governmental and non-governmental organizations to solve all the problems of IDPs and forced displaced and return families to their areas of residence, provide humanitarian services and achieve peaceful coexistence."
