Al-Zamili: The opportunity is available for Australian companies to invest in Iraq

The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hakim Al-Zamili, confirmed today, Sunday that the opportunity is available for Australian companies to invest in Iraq.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Zamili received the Australian Ambassador in Baghdad, Paula Elizabeth Kanley, to discuss bilateral relations, enhance cooperation between the two countries, and discuss the latest developments on the local arena."
Al-Zamili said, according to the statement: "We are determined to find an effective strategy to achieve sustainable development for our country, through the development of the agricultural and industrial sectors, and to attract solid investment companies," stressing that the opportunity is favorable for Australian companies to invest in Iraq.
