The arrest of two terrorists who worked in the ranks of ISIS in Baghdad

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior arrested two terrorists who worked within the ranks of ISIS in Baghdad.

A statement by the intelligence agency, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "through the continuous follow-up of the accountability segments, the intelligence agency's detachments managed, with two separate currencies, to arrest two wanted terrorists in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of terrorism for belonging to the terrorist ISIS gangs."

The statement added, "Through preliminary investigations with them, the first terrorist, nicknamed Abu Obeida, confessed to his work in the so-called Nahawand ISIS division, while the second terrorist confessed to his work as a driver of an excavation wheel for ISIS dens," noting that "the process of arresting them took place within the province of Baghdad, and their initial and judicial statements were not recorded. Legal measures have been taken against them.
