Iraq condemns terrorist attack on a mosque in Pakistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the terrorist attack on the Kocha Rasaldar Mosque in the Pakistani city of Peshawar.

The ministry expressed, according to a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and its solidarity with the government of Pakistan in the face of all attempts to tamper with its security and stability carried out by terrorist and extremist groups."

"The targeting of innocent worshipers in mosques is a clear evidence of the ugliness of the ideology that these groups carry, which requires more cooperation and coordination to confront what threatens the collective security of countries.".The Ministry added.
