    INA - BAGHDAD

Digital Media Center - DMC confirmed on Wednesday, the US CBS network website has been hacked by "hackers" who justified the work on the grounds that one of the network's correspondents had abused Iraq.

”Some domains of the site were hacked, and phrases praising Iraq and its civilization written as "Iraq came, then history came." Iraq came, then history came after it,” said DMC cybersecurity official Moamel Ahmed Shikair, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

Shikair added, "The hack included at least three sub-domains, and the page of the hack was appended with phrases condemning the war on Ukraine,”

US CBS correspondent said in previous statements about the repercussions of the war on Ukraine that it is "relatively civilized and relatively European, compared to countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan,”

His speech aroused indignation and resentment among the audience of social networking sites, as 'racist and shameful'.

It is noteworthy that CBS, the Columbia Broadcasting System, is one of the most famous television networks in the United States. It was founded in 1927 and ranked 197 in the 2018 Fortune 500 list as the largest US company in terms of revenues.
