MOFA: Iraqi Embassy in Bucharest receives 13 Iraqis leaving Ukraine

INA - BAGHDAD

Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf confirmed on Wednesday that the Iraqi embassy in Bucharest received 13 Iraqis leaving Ukraine.

”The Iraqi embassy in Bucharest received 13 of those who left Ukraine as the necessary support was provided to them,” said Al-Sahaf in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

On Tuesday, Al-Sahhaf announced the arrival of 223 Iraqis from Ukraine to Poland.

These updates came with the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war that pushed a large number of Iraqis to request to leave the Ukrainian lands.
