An attempt to target logistical support convoys foiled in Al-Muthanna

The Security Media Cell announced that it had foiled the targeting of logistical support convoys with two explosive devices in Al-Muthanna.
The SMC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "through field follow-up and intensification of intelligence efforts, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Ministry of Interior in Al-Muthanna Governorate, and during the ongoing field survey, managed to foil an attempt to target logistical support convoys with two explosive devices planted on the highway."
"One of them was dismantled on site, and the other was detonated under the control of anti-explosives experts," SMC added.
