An attempt to target logistical support convoys foiled

The Security Media Cell announced Sunday that it had foiled an attempt to target logistics support convoys with (4) explosive devices in three provinces.
 
"Through field follow-up and intensified intelligence efforts, the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency in the Ministry of Interior in Muthanna province, Diwaniyah and Baghdad, during the field survey, were able to foil the attempt to target the convoys of logistical support and the lives of citizens with (4) explosive devices on the international highway linking Baghdad-Basra," SMC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
"The bombs were dismantled on site by the explosives expert," the statement said.
