Serbian Ambassador: Iraq plays an important role in the region

 Тhe Serbian ambassador to Iraq, Orus Balov, confirmed today, Friday, that Iraq plays one of the most important roles in the region.

Balov explained in his speech at the National Day ceremony, which was attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Serbia and Iraq celebrate the 64th anniversary of the continuous bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, which have always been friendly," noting that "he is working within his powers to rebuild Iraq." .

He added that "Iraq plays one of the most important roles in the region and that its mission as an ambassador is primarily to improve political relations and enhance economic cooperation with Iraq."

 He stressed, "Our countries face different challenges and these situations enhance friendships in the best possible way, and that his country highly appreciates the support shown by the Iraqi government several times," expressing at the same time his personal gratitude for the support that Iraq provided to Serbia.
