Biden announces the death of ISIS leader

US President Joe Biden announced today, Thursday, the killing of the leader of ISIS terrorist gangs during an operation in Syria.

Biden said in a tweet on his Twitter account, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Last night, and based on my instructions, the US military forces successfully carried out an anti-terror operation in the Syrian city of Idlib.".

"Thanks to the courage of our armed forces, the leader of ISIS, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraishi, was killed and removed from the battlefield," he added.
