SMC: Air strike kills terrorist cell responsible for the Al-Adheem incident

Security Media Cell - SMC announced on Saturday, the killing of the terrorist cell responsible for the Al-Adheem incident in Diyala.

”After our security forces pledged to take revenge for our heroic martyrs in the Al-Adheem incident, which killed a number of fighters, the heroes in the National Security Agency, with continuous efforts, were able to determine the exact location of the terrorist group's in Hawi, Al-Adheem within the Diyala operations sector, which carried out this criminal act,” SMC stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

The statement included "The Joint Targeting Cell in the Joint Operations Command, and the Air Force Command began planning and follow-up for continuous hours, then directing three precise strikes by Iraqi F-16 planes, which have so far resulted in the killing of 9 terrorist elements," stressing that "the duty is still ongoing until ending the heads of the cowardly terrorist elements inside their hideouts,”
