The Iraq Clean Energy Forum Kicks Off Tomorrow

    The Ministry of Oil announced that tomorrow, Sunday, will be the date for the start of the activities of the Iraq Forum for Clean and Renewable Energy 2022.
    Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismail said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The participation of the Ministries of Oil, Electricity and Environment, and a number of national and global companies operating in Iraq, including South Gas, Basra Gas, Shell and Siemens Energy, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, Total and others, is an important step aimed to get acquainted about the latest practical experiences and applications in this field, as well as discussing the programmes for developing the renewable energy sectors in Iraq, in addition to  the future visions and prospects, similar experiences in developed countries, and the most important practical steps in this field.
    He pointed out that "the start of the activities of this  forum comes within the Iraqi government and the ministry of oil endeavors to support all initiatives and efforts to gradually shift from traditional to clean and renewable energy through cooperation projects between national companies and international companies specialized in this field."
