PMF overthrow of a dangerous element of ISIS 

The Popular Mobilization Authority announced, today, Thursday, the overthrow of a dangerous element of ISIS on the island of Hatra. 

The commission said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a force from the Nineveh Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization was able to arrest a dangerous element of the terrorist "ISIS" gangs in Hatra Island, within the administrative borders separating the provinces of Nineveh and Salah al-Din.". 

The authority added, "This came during a security operation in which a force from the National Security and the Iraqi army participated in the depth of Hatra Island within the Um Hazaz area on the administrative borders separating the provinces of Nineveh and Salah al-Din," noting that "the arrested terrorist works with the terrorist organization "ISIS" in the Gaza Strip. Al-Jazeera and the Badia, and is wanted by the Iraqi judiciary, according to an arrest warrant in accordance with the provisions of Article 1/4 of terrorism, as he was handed over to the requesting authority (national security)."
