Al-Kadhimi: Our visit to Najaf is administrative 

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed that his visit to Najaf Governorate today is administrative. 

Al-Kadhimi said after leaving the house of the Sadrist movement leader, Muqtada al-Sadr in Al-Hanana, that "his visit to Najaf today is administrative and concerning services.". 

Earlier, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, today, Thursday, issued directives regarding Najaf Governorate and the file of the lecturers during his meeting with the directors of service departments in the governorate. 

The media office of the Prime Minister conveyed the most important of what Al-Kadhimi said during his extended meeting with the directors of the service departments in Najaf Governorate, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), as saying: "I am happy to be in Najaf Governorate, the city of the Faithful Commander, the religious references, and the great historical legacy, This governorate needs a special situation because of its privacy,” he

added. 

The Prime Minister also added: “Our visit to Najaf governorate is purely administrative and not of a political nature, but rather to see its conditions and help provide services to its people.” 

He also added, "I came with a large ministerial team to take quick decisions, in order to solve problems, overcome challenges, and support the province with what it needs," stressing: "I will be a supervisor and follow-up to the affairs of Najaf Governorate, and the ministers were directed to make efforts and overcome obstacles in front of what the province needs." . 

He pointed out that "we are working to establish a special fund for Najaf to contribute to the development of the province and the completion of various projects in it.". 

In addition to that, Prime Minister announced his directive to choose the director of the old municipality of Najaf on special conditions. 

Furthermore, Al-Kadhimi affirmed, "His directive to solve the problem of lecturers in the 2022 budget," noting: "We instructed the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works to find solutions to the problem of water and sewage, and to link the highway and the land pilgrimage route."
